I. Operational Features & Advantages During backwash, water flows radially outward through stacked filter discs, effectively removing trapped contaminants for discharge through the waste port. The disc filter features fully automated operation and backwashing with minimal maintenance. With no requirement for filter element replacement, supplemental media, or consumables (e.g., cartridges/bags) during years of service, it significantly reduces operating costs and labor intensity.
